Who we are:
Kefeta Youth SACCO is a youth-led, youth-managed and youth-owned regulated national savings and credit cooperative organization. The first city level establishment was in Hawassa in July 2022 with 55 members. Kefeta Youth SACCO is registered at National level as the first ever youth SACCO in Ethiopia on February 14th, 2024. Our objective is to be the most efficient and reliable financial service provider of youth friendly tailored products to empower Ethiopian youth socially and economically.

Members - Eligibility of membership;
- Youth between the age of 18 to 35 years of age
- Government ID (Kebele, Driving license, passport, National ID)
- Two passport size photos
- Willingness and ability to buy minimum share amount of 1,000 ETB (4 shares at 250 ETB per share), one-time registration fee of 200 ETB, and a mandatory monthly savings of 300ETB
Non-Members (can save but cannot purchase shares and are not eligible for loan) Eligibility of non-members;
- Adults over 35 years of age
- Children (under 18 years old) account – opened by adults
